The Flight of Time

Do you notice nowadays that time flies so fast? Sometimes I realize that in a blink of an eye, everything changes so easily. Yes, I think time flies rapidly. Often times we feel that the past happened like it was only yesterday. We usually don't notice that because sometimes we are too busy and too focused on our individual works that we don't realize how fast the time flies. The flight of time is very transient that the future ahead of us will suddenly become the past behind us.

What's most important is that we must learn to value the use of the time we have. We must make every moment count. We must learn to not regret the past, reminisce the happy moments we've had, cherish and appreciate the present, and look forward to what the future unfolds. It's how we make use of our time that's necessary regardless of how rapidly the flight of time goes. Make the most of everything you have today and never let any past mistakes hinder you to strive for excellence for the future. When time flies, ride on it and enjoy!

Horror and Spooks!

Now we are currently in the month of October. Any idea what holiday makes October famous? Well, aside from the celebration of the United Nations of course. That one holiday that brings the creeps to all of us yet never fails to entertain us as well. It's Halloween! Halloween is an annual holiday held on October 31. What makes it unique from other holidays is that instead of hearts, fireworks, cakes, mistletoe, or flags, it has its candies (the kind of which are fitted to be given on that day with a horrifying style and carved in a spooky form), coated apples, candles, soul cakes, and the famous trademark of that holiday, the jack-o-lanterns (A pumpkin that has its insides scooped out and its cover carved into a form of a monstrous face.). Its activities include trick-or-treating, costume parties, visiting haunted attractions (this is optional though and it's only meant for the bravest of hearts), playing pranks, telling scary stories, and watching horror films.

Halloween originated in Europe. A historian named Nicholas Rogers believed that Halloween originated specifically in Rome. It is either the Roman Feast of Pomona, the goddess of fruits and seeds, or in the festival of the dead called Parentalia that the customs and practices of that holiday began. One of Halloween's origins can also be traced in the Celtic Festivals. Some historians say that October 31 marks the end of the Celtic Calendar and that on that day, the Celts are believed to be honoring the dead through bonfires and offerings of their abundant harvests. The original name of Halloween is All Hallows Eve.

What made Halloween so famous? The answer is, pop culture. Most especially that of the influence of Hollywood. Ever since the film, Dracula (1931), came out, people began to spark their interests towards the horror genre. From then on, the Hollywood film industry never failed to entertain people with their horror films. Films like The Wolf Man (1941), Freaks (1932), The Invisible Man (1933), Suspiria (1977), The Silence of the Lamb (1991), The Exorcist (1973), Child's Play (1988), Dawn of the Dead (1978 and 2004), The Omen (1976), The Hills Have Eyes (2006), The Sixth Sense (1999), Friday the 13th (1980), Nightmare on Elm Street (1984), Salem's Lot (1979), Psycho (1960), Drag Me to Hell (2009), Paranormal Activity (2007), The Ring (2002), and Insidious (2010). From these films, people then got interested in celebrating Halloween.

Halloween is celebrated around the world and the celebration varies depending on what culture or tradition the countries which are celebrating it, have. In the case of my country, the Philippines, being influenced by the western culture, we usually have a three-day celebration of it. On October 31, we celebrate it similar to how the westerners have it celebrated. We have costume parties, trick-or-treating, and a marathon of horror films. On November 1, we recognize that date as the All Saints Day in honor of the saints and martyrs who died for their faith and the good works they made. On November 2, that's when we celebrate the All Souls Day in honor of the departed loved ones we had. The country that is most popular in celebrating Halloween, I believe, is the USA. The westerners were the ones who popularized its activities most especially the costume parties and trick-or-treating.

What I love most about Halloween is that it's not that serious of a scary holiday. Of course since it's a holiday, people would really make any sorts of entertainment from it. I guess it's the only holiday that would make us feel entertained when we are scared or when we scare others. Based on my personal experiences, I never tried doing trick-or-treat activities when I was a child. I must have been so fun if I've tried it though. I think I didn't have the guts to do it because I was a typical shy kind and I was not comfortable wearing any costume and it's not really that prominent in my neighborhood though. But I wish I tried at least once. This coming Halloween, I think I'll be with my family to visit our departed loved ones especially my beloved grandfather who died last year of Emphysema. May his soul rest in peace.

Halloween's already fast approaching this year! I hope you'll have a good one! Keep those horror and spooks coming! Happy Halloween!

My Present Help in Time of Trouble

"Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him." - Psalm 34:8

"The name of the LORD is a strong fortress; the godly run to Him and are safe." - Proverbs 18:10

"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." - Isaiah 40:31

"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you." - Deuteronomy 31:6

Do you sometimes feel down or discouraged? Are you sometimes unhappy and not contended with yourself? Do you sometimes feel unsatisfied with everything you are blessed to have? Do you sometimes feel like you're trapped in your problems and that you don't have a way out? Sometimes I feel those things. Sometimes I feel weary and hopeless. Often times I feel like these sadness have no end. It's like they're permanent and there are no ways to stop them. The problems I've had and all those things that worries me makes me feel depressed. And as a teenager, I can really say that I am in the stage of my life wherein everything is confusing and that both pressure and anxieties are prominent. I feel like no one cares.

Let me share to you some of my problems which I am comfortable sharing. I was bullied and teased a lot at school for the way I act (Fortunately now, I have already graduated high school and I'll be attending college this November. I hope all the best for college though.) People in school think that I'm gay but I'm not. I guess I'm just comfortable acting with not the kind of way they expected me to act. I don't really act that manly though. But I'm straight. But the thing is, people shouldn't judge other people on how they act. They must learn to know the person first before they evaluate judgement. I guess I'm just different from them. I have less friends and only a few of them whom I can really trust and express my problems to. There was a time at school when I began to feel unworthy. I didn't care for my studies at all and that lead to the downfall of my grades. I received very low grades at that time for not performing my duties well as a student. I didn't tell my parents about it because I don't want them to be concerned over me. And that they already have so many things to worry about. Then my problem got doubled and the feeling of being worried increased. Soon, I felt like I wanted to escape. I just wanted to be free from all these problems causing me to worry, to be depressed, to feel unloved, and to feel unworthy. During that time, I felt like no one cares.

But it turned out that I was wrong. There is someone who actually cares. Someone who knows every inch of me and loves me way more than I can imagine. That someone, is God. Yes, He cares for us. Yes, He loves us. He loves us to the point of sending His only begotten Son, my personal Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for our sins. Can you imagine how great, incomparable, and steadfast His love is? That was the moment when I feel blessed. That's how I came to know more of my Creator and Savior. When I've had those problems, I sought for His refuge, strength, and guidance. Then I perceived the realization that I am so blessed. I am blessed to have my family. I am blessed to be alive. I am blessed in so many different ways. Most importantly, I am so blessed to be loved by God. And for the first time in my life, I feel satisfied and complete. Satisfied and complete of His grace and loving-kindness. From then on, I overcame my problems, and learned to value my life. Not that I value my life for myself, but I value my life for God. He is the reason why I live. Those verses which I placed at the top of these articles are some of my motivations to  help me face the trials and struggles I will soon encounter. I also learned that our personal trials and struggles are God's way to mold us to become better persons. It is not to destroy us but to help us become more courageous and to help us put our faith, trust, and hope in Him. I can easily relate to the famous chapter in Psalms. It is Psalms 23. You can read it of you have your Bible with you or you can search it in the internet. It is the chapter which tells of how to deal with the struggles we face and to believe that God is always there for us as our refuge, our provider, and our strength. It tells that regardless of our hindrances and discouragements, we must be satisfied with God being there for us. Even though we walk through the darkest valley of our lives, we must not fear anything for He is always there to comfort us and strengthen us. The Bible even tells us that God will never leave us nor forsake us. How awesome could He be? God is just great and I daresay that He is my present help in time of trouble.

My advice to all of you, especially to the youths who have the same problems as I have and who can totally relate to these kinds of trials: Learn to put your faith in God. He is always there to comfort you. He is always there to guide you. His intentions are always for the good of us all. And His plans are always filled with hope and goodness. We may sometimes feel weary, but these problems won't last. What's most important is your faith in God. Our problems are just temporal but God is eternal. If your problems are so big and too many that you can't handle it any longer, always find the courage to talk to God and ask for His help. He will always be there to save us in our time of great need and He is forever present to help us in our time of trouble.

Evolution or Creation? A Christian's View on the Topic.

“Man is descended from a hairy, tailed quadruped, probably arboreal in its habits” - Charles Darwin (1809-1882)

“The mystery of the beginning of all things is insoluble by us; and I for one must be content to remain an agnostic” - Charles Darwin (1809-1882)

"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." - Genesis 1:1

"So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them." - Genesis 1:27

Evolution or Creation? That's a debatable topic which is not yet settled up to this day. Ever since Charles Darwin published "On the Origin of Species", on November 24, 1859, that was when the controversial  debate started. His book influenced many people and tells about the theory that all kinds of species are descended from a common ancestry and evolved in different ways in accordance to the state of the place it adapts and belongs. Way after his book was published and that many people have come to know of it, this paved the way of the beginning of Atheism and Agnosticism (Atheism and Agnosticism, although both beliefs are majorly influenced by Darwin's Theory, differ in some ways. Atheism is the belief that opposes the existence of a god and the disbelief of a supreme creator above all. Whereas Agnosticism is more like going with the flow of beliefs; they believe in a "certain god" but they don't specify what god they believe in or who that god is. At least that's what I know of. It's quite difficult to give their differences because as a Christian, I have less knowledge of those two beliefs.). Charles Darwin's book has also caused a spark of controversies from religious sectors. Most especially that of the Christian Church because his theory is a total contradictory of the teachings of the Bible and they regard his work as a heresy.

I was raised as a Christian and was taught of the basic Christian beliefs, doctrines, and principles. As a Christian, I believe that there is one God, the Father Almighty who created all things for His glory. As a Christian, I believe that God created everything with a purpose. As a Christian, I believe that God formed us through His image and likeness. As a Christian, I believe that we are God's greatest masterpiece. As a Christian I believe in the belief of Creationism. But when I was at school, our science teacher would often share to us about the teachings of evolution. That was when the confusion of my belief started.

Now let's discuss about the theory of evolution. It's funny how sometimes science contradicts the teachings of your faith and that leaves you into a state of confusion because science always has the upper hand. They have more evidences of the things which can be seen. Speaking of evidences, have you seen the pictures of those fossilized bones of the early human existence? Well, that's what we sometimes see when we study evolution. Scientists believe that all species belong to the same ancestor-bacterium. It was a single bacterium that started it all until it multiplied into myriads of bacteria. Then over time, as the climate and geography changed, those bacteria was transformed into certain kinds of species. Those species have changed depending on what location they are in and what climate they have in that place. As those species changed and as time passed by, there are already different kinds of creatures and that's how every living thing came to existence. That results to the beginning of apes and mankind. At least that's what I'm taught in the study of evolution. The study of evolution is somewhat complicated because there are plenty of names of the stages of how species evolve. Just like how humans evolve. There's this Ardipithecus Ramidus, Australopethicus Anamensis, Australopethicus Afarnesis, Australopethicus Africanus, Australopethicus Robustus, and the list goes on. The funny thing about human evolution is that they say we are descended from apes. Hahaha! Do we really have ape traits in our blood? Well, maybe scientist can prove that. But as far as I know of, if we compare ourselves to apes nowadays, we're much wiser and civilized than them. Now I'm not saying that apes are dumb creatures. As a Christian, I believe that God made every creature special in their own way. What I'm trying to say is that we humans are nothing like any species of the animal kingdom. God made us to be unique. Scientists say that we humans are the highest form of animals. My question is: do we act like animals? Do you want to be one? Don't get me wrong but I'm not discriminating animals on how they act. My point is that we are totally different from them. We humans are more advanced in our knowledge and conduct. We may have similar locations of eyes, ears, mouth and other body parts, we may be alive like them, we may have similar senses they have, but based on intellect and values and conscience, I can say that we're nothing like them and that it's hard to believe that they are our ancestors.

Another study of evolution tells that everything happened coincidentally. Coincidence? All these? Everything you see? Everything you touch? Everything you know and who you are? In my humble opinion, I guess not. Atheists believe that the universe was created coincidentally and that all creatures evolved in their own way. If that's the case, then there would be no purpose of all these things. Going back to human evolution, other scientists believe that up to this day, we are still evolving. Now my question is: Do you feel yourself evolving? Aging, yes. Physical changes, yes because that's part of aging. But evolving into a different kind of creature? I find it very impossible. Are you comfortable with that idea? I guess not. Evolution, as others perceived it to be, is a biological change over some period of time depending on what state, where you are, and what the surroundings and the atmosphere bring.

Now let's talk about Creationism. Creationism is a religious belief that entirely everything, the universe, the creatures living in it, things that can be seen or unseen, and life in its fullest form, are the creation of one supreme being and deity. Creationism is also practiced by many religious sectors. Jews and Christians believe that God (Yahweh) is the ultimate creator of everything. Muslims believe that it is Allah. Zoroastrians believe that it is Ahura Mazda. Shintoism, a belief practiced during the early foundation of Japan, has Izanagi-no-Mikoto and his wife, Izanami-no-Mikoto as their creators. There are two types of this belief. One is monotheism which has the teachings stating that only one supreme God created everything. The other one is polytheism which has the teachings stating that there are multiple gods or goddesses who helped form the creation of everything. Monotheism is practiced by Christians, Jews, Muslims, Zoroastrians, Baha'i, and Samaritanism. While Polytheism is prominent in Hinduism, Egyptian and African Mythologies, Native American Mythology, Greek and Roman Mythologies which have similar gods and goddesses but only differ with their names, Nordic and Scandinavian Mythologies and other myths.

In my case, since I am a Christian, I believe that God is responsible for the creation of all things and He is behind everything He planned.  For me, the belief of creation makes more sense and it'll help you solve the mysteries of your life. It will make you understand your life's purpose that you are not an accident but you are made for a reason and for His plans. The Bible tells us that God created us in His own image and likeness. Now that's something science couldn't compare and answer. The difference between evolution and creation is that evolution happens coincidentally and that creation happened with love. Yes, that incomparable thing all of us know, love. I bet science couldn't explain that either. Even though science has plenty of proofs to prove their teachings, I still hang on to my belief because my faith tells me so. I know that there is a God up there who loves me more than my mind can conceive and my heart can bare. I know that He created me with a purpose. I believe that everything is His creation and being a creation, He loves it. He loves all his creation and that includes us. No matter what evidences science shows, I'm still hanging on to my faith. In my opinion, nothing is stronger than a person's faith.

Evolution or Creation? That is for you to decide. Just so you know, I'm not aiming to convert non-believers who are reading this article. I'm just stating my opinion towards this controversial topic. And to all the Christians who are reading this, I hope you can relate to me. The "Evolution vs. Creation" is still a debatable topic currently ongoing today. And because of this, it caused many conflicts among people with different views of it. My advice to all of you who are reading this, whether you prefer evolution over creation or creation over evolution, is to respect other people's belief. Whether their beliefs are contradictory to yours, just respect them. Let them have their say and have your say to them in return. And when everything gets fired up already, you don't have to add gasoline on that fire. Forcing people to believe your beliefs will create conflict. Just respect them. We all are entitled to our own beliefs and opinions.

"We live by faith, not by sight." - 2 Corinthians 5:7

Books

Today I cleaned my room. It was the first time that I cleaned it all by myself and I feel like it's a great accomplishment. As I was cleaning my room, I sorted all things to their right places until I found my books. Like, all of them. They were in huge piles! Yup, those were all the books I've read ever since I became interested in literature. I didn't know I could read as many books as those in my life! But I guess that's who I am and what my hobbies are. I am really fond of reading and sometimes I find solace in it.

So when I saw my books, I checked them one by one. Although some were old looking already, the pages were, fortunately, still intact. Maybe I could read them again someday. I'm thankful enough to handle those books with proper care. How cruel could that be when you own such incredible books and you just take them for granted until they became difficult to be read and are torn and wasted. A bookworm not only reads his books, but also takes good care of them.

They were so plenty! And I'm fortunate enough to have read as many books as those. There were different kinds! There were fiction, non-fiction, motivational, inspirational, fairy tales (with pictures in it), spiritual, and series. But most of them were fiction. Looking at those books made me remember of the time when I was reading them. The interests I've had in their plots and the amazing imaginations it brought me. It made me realize that books aren't just a source of entertainment, they also contribute great memories of your past. Memories that are meant to be treasured. One example is the seven book series, The Chronicles of Narnia. If it's not for these great seven wonderful books and for the brilliant author behind everything in it, I couldn't have been introduced in the field of literature. And looking back, when I first started reading The Chronicles of Narnia, it brought me the awesome feeling of nostalgia. I suddenly remembered the first time when I was avidly interested in mythical creatures and fantasy. When I was checking the books, and scanning some pages, and skimming through paragraphs, and reading between the lines, it sort of brought me back those days and the feeling is just incredible. I owe my thanks to C.S. Lewis.

There were other books as well:

The Inheritance Cycle which consists of three books (Eragon, Eldest, and Brisingr) which I completely love (By the way, the fourth and final book of the series was released last September and I'm looking forward to buy and read it!) written by Christopher Paolini. The reason that made me love this book is because of Paolini's unique way of expressing his own perspective and ideas towards fantasy. If Tolkien was still alive today, I'm sure he'd love Paolini's works and that he'll compliment him. Writing fantasy stories isn't that easy. Sometimes you'd have to create your own ideas of your world and the magical creatures living in it. Or if you want to do the easy way, you can just copy the creatures of the different mythologies and make a plot of your own. But either way, it's your style that counts.

The four novels of Nicholas Sparks which are True Believer, The Lucky One, Safe Haven, and A Bend in the Road. So far these are the only Nicholas Sparks novels I have. Nicholas Sparks really knows how to touch and mend a reader's heart. To tell you the truth, I've learned a lot of things when I read his books and I couldn't stop being so emotional towards them. What I like about Nicholas Sparks is that he can make you relate to his characters. I guess I'm not the only fan of him who notices this. But Nicholas Sparks sure is awesome when it comes to romance drama.

There was Dan Brown's Angels and Demons. Now I'm not really a fan of him but I consider him one of the greatest authors in our generation. Not because of his plots, but because of his style in writing. He researches a lot before he could complete a book and that his books are usually facts that are made into fiction through his imagination. His books don't really suit my type though. It's sort of complicated and confusing and it can really turn your faith upside down. Hahaha! I suggest Christians, especially Catholics, who are really devoted to their beliefs, to not read his works. But that's only a suggestion. You can read it. But the important thing is, do not let it affect on what you personally believe in.

I also have old classics like Black Beauty by Anna Sewel, A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens, and A Pilgrim's Progress by John Bunyan. The good thing about these old classical novels is that they last a century or more. I think it's because they were written during the time when people only find liberty through writing. My English Teacher told us that great books are those written during the time of great turmoil. An example of that is Uncle Tom's Cabin by Harriet Beecher Stowe. It was written during the time when slavery and racial discrimination were prominent in America. Harriet, being filled with kindness and awareness, intentionally wrote the novel in order to find a way to free the poor slaves from the oppression of their cruel masters. And when that book became popular in the Northern States, it paved the way of the Civil War to happen and through that war, with the Northern States in triumph, the slaves were freed. Another example of a great classical book is that of Anne Frank. She wrote it for her to express her opinions and feelings towards the Jewish genocide led by the Nazi. Up to date, old classics are still popular as ever. I find old classics filled with much more things that are important to be learned than the some books today.

As a fantasy fan, I could never have read anything greater than any fantasy works I've read so far. And those are the works of the father of high fantasy, J.R.R. Tolkien. I have The Silmarillion and The Hobbit. I find The Hobbit quite amusing and filled with more sense of humor than The Lord of The Rings. And if any of you don't know, The Hobbit is actually the prequel of The Lord of The Rings. But as I have read it, it's quite a stand alone novel but probably the best prequel to an epic fantasy series I have read to date. The Silmarillion is really serious, more serious, complicated, and confusing than The Lord of the Rings. There are immense numbers of characters which are pretty much hard to remember and with names with difficult pronunciation. But above all, I love it! That's what makes J.R.R. Tolkien a great fantasy author. He made fantasy into something more serious than any childish fantasy works before (e.g. Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, and The Wizard of Oz). And lucky for him, he was thee one who started it all. He even popularized the concept of tall and slim elves with pointy ears that glow. Don't get me wrong but it was the Norse Mythology who first made the concept of these kinds of elves but it was Tolkien who made it popular through his books. Fortunately for him, God gave him a brilliant mind!

I also have Young Adult Books like The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky, The Mysterious Benedict Society by Trenton Lee Stewart, Spanking Shakespeare by James Wizner, Erec Rex by Kaza Kingsley, The Snow Walker by Catherine Fisher, and Halo by Alexandra Adornetto (This book was the latest book I've read.). What I love about Young Adult Books is that their characters are those that I can relate to. Being a teenager, I find it fun and easy to read these books. The style of writing is also in its simplest form in order to be understood well by the reader.

I have countless of books and if I share them to you one by one, it might take me a day to write it in my blog. But nonetheless, I'm gonna tell you some of my great favorites: The Walk by Richard Paul Evans, The Five People You Meet in Heaven and For One More Day by Mitchel Albom, The Alchemist and The Winner Stands Alone by Paolo Coelho, The Once and Future King by T.H. White, The Golden Compass by Philip Pullman (I didn't complete the series because I heard that it's controversial to the Christian Church but I love the book.), and The Earthsea Series by Ursula K. Le Guin. I also have motivational and inspirational books. Some of them were: The Book of Hope by John Macarthur, Don't Waste Your Life by John Piper, and Do Hard Things by Alex and Brett Harris. I have many more books but there are already too many to mention. The ones that I shared are the ones which caught my interests and are my favorites!

To end this blog, I want to give advice to all the avid readers out there. Learn to value your books and the great entertainment and learning insights it contributes. No matter how old your books already look, it's not the quantity that matters, but the quality it brings.

Starting Anew

I am finally starting over. I think it's the perfect moment and opportunity to open a new chapter in my life's book. I have just turned seventeen last October 8, and now I officially started to become mature and change for the better. I guess it's time to bid farewell to being childish and start to take things more serious. It's also time to make a major change in my perspective, mentality, spirituality, and attitude for the better. From now on, I'll try to make that change by starting to see my life as a precious thing that isn't meant to be wasted. I'll try to be more aware of others and not being so focused on myself. I'll put an end of being self-centered.  I'll try to value everything that I am blessed to have: my family, my friends, the people who continue to support, love, and care for me, and everyone who played great roles to make my life meaningful and colorful. I'll try to be more virtuous. I know that I have undergone a lot of experiences whether they are ups and downs or lifts and falls. I have made tough choices, good and bad. But the important thing is, I learned from each of them and I'll do my best to use the things that I have learned and be better next time. I personally believe in second chances. And this is my second chance. I won't waste it nor ignore it. I'm gonna grab this opportunity to make my life more meaningful and to try to contribute something good in the society through my own little way out of my abilities, skills, and things that I am greatly capable of doing. I'll try to be more sociable this time. I love making new friends. I think this is the right moment to really come out of my shell and be the new and better "Angelo" that people will come to know. I love my life and by loving it, I'm starting to change for the better.

Who knows what God's plans are there for me? Now, I guess, is not yet the right time to know. None can predict God's great plans for us. But my faith tells me that God always has something good in store for us. There was one verse in the Bible (although I have forgotten what verse it was but I still remember what it says) that God's plans for us are always filled with hopes and goodness. I would gladly give an "amen" and a warm and joyous applause for that with standing ovation added. But for us to be able to experience and receive His plans for us, we must first know two great things. Faith and hard work. Faith, for us to believe in Him, put our hopes in Him, and to ask for His guidance when in time of great need. The proven fact is that God is always there for us no matter what. Hard work, for us to strive for excellence with God's guidance. Surely, God won't just give us success without doing anything. That's unfair. To reach for great things, we must earn it. Success is a reward to help us remember our perseverance and determination through hard work. I remember one saying that keeps on reminding me and it goes like this: "Believe man can and you're halfway there, and believe God can and the race is won." With our faith and hard work, we can surely be able to know God's great and perfect plans for us. And for me, I'll keep those things in mind and add it to my lifestyle. Faith and hard work.

I'm entering college this November. I'm so excited! I'm taking Development Communications Major in Journalism as my course. And I'm attending to Xavier University Ateneo de Cagayan. My dream of becoming a successful published writer is always there. And I'm gonna work for it, to reach it! This is going to be amazing! I'll have to meet new friends, to roam around new surroundings, and to learn great new things! A new chapter in my life is finally opening and I will do well to make the most of it!
